An exceptionally rare 'Luxor' daybed designed by Sergio Rodrigues for OCA and produced for Bloch Editores S.A building in Rio de Janeiro. Constructed from solid Brazilian Jacaranda, the low-profile frame is characterised by Rodrigues' distinctive architectural simplicity, with rounded edges, cylindrical legs and a slatted platform designed to support a loose upholstered mattress. The bed has been produced in a slightly larger width than what was being produced by OCA at this time. This example retains its original Bloch Editores S.A. plaque with identification numbers
